Female Cooper Hawk tucked in nest June 4, 2013
I was very happy to watch the female feeding the eyas again. For a second I saw white again in the nest through the branches. The tree is now surrounded by leaves and very difficult to see in. I met the owners of the house where the nest is. Ed told me that they had a pair of hawks living there last year but one was killed hitting the window. The hawk had a vole in his talon. Ed gave me permission to check out the nest and take photos whenever I was driving by. So from this point on I started to document the eyas and female hawk.
